After hours of pondering & scouring the internet and pinterest, I came up with a new floorplan and some ideas for the new workspace:
{1} {2} {3} {4} {5} {6} {7} {8}
The main thing I want for this room is to have clearly defined spaces, but also have an open, warm feel. These of course, aren’t the exact pieces or colors I’ll end up using, but it gives you an idea of the direction I’m going in….vintage chic cottage with a touch of modern.
The hubbs and I have already started to move furniture around and the space is really starting to open up. I’m super excited! I’ll be posting pics of the furniture placement next week.
In the meantime, check out the Pinterest board I’ve created for this space:
this really cool washi tape decorated keyboard
and this uber cute photo of Jennifer Aniston
Have a great day friends!
xo,
Louise

OH. MY. GOSH. I would die for a creative space like this! Your plans are amazing!
Crossing my fingers that my plans will look good in reality! Thx Ashley! XO
Wow, looks like it’s going to turn out very shabby chic and glamorous!
I love your inspiration pieces you’ve picked out!
Also, just a side note, since you commented in June, I wanted to give you a heads up because the $50 giftcard giveaway at onehouseonecouple is almost over, and the 30th is the last day you can leave comments on June posts to stack up your points so you can hopefully win! Good luck Louise! And thanks for coming over
Hope you have a nice weekend. Can’t wait to see how your creative space turns out

Ooooh, this is so great, I love seeing your floor plan and ideas for all of the little areas and pieces of furniture. I think the cottagey look is awesome and will give the room a nice, relaxed, comfortable feel. I love, love, love re-decorating and seeing homes/ideas/spaces! My mom is an interior decorator and I think she instilled that love for design in me! Thanks for sharing your inspiration, I cannot wait to see how it all turns out!
Ohhh I bet your house growing up was so beautiful! I love sharing where my ideas/inspiration come from, I can’t wait to see how it turns out myself! Wish me luck!! XO
