For some reason, we always kind of end up winging the Fourth. No formal parties or bbq. No coordinating plates and decor.
We usually just call up our friends and family the day before and say, “hey, come over!” And just cook up a storm and enjoy each other’s company.
But if we did have a more formal gathering, this is prolly how I would want our Fourth of July celebration to look like
beautiful blue and red patterned table cloths and dinner napkins…
fresh strawberries and fruits…
fresh flowers…
and festive decor…
How do you guys do up your Fourth? Do you go all out, or are you just like us?
xo, Louise

I’ll be working 4th of July, but we normally don’t do much anyways.
Although I’m hoping to sneak over to our new town’s festival for some greasy snacks and fireworks after working!
I LOVE the look of that table setting. Totally reminds me of something my mother-in-law would do! My hubby and I usually go out together and find some fireworks to watch, but since it is so awfully hot here, no one really does any picnics or anything. Eventually, when we have a house, I would love to start the tradition of having a barbecue for our friends and family!
Happy Monday to you, Louise!!
