Tuesday Tutorials – FREE Weekly Planner

Happy Tuesday ladies & gents!

Yesterday was a crazy, weird day!  Go Daddy was down, and it caused all sorts of trouble with everyone…including yours truly.

But that’s over and today is a brand new day!

A while back I found a really great weekly planner for $2!  Yes! Very cheap, and it has been my loyal sidekick when it comes to planning my blog posts, the kids’ acitvities, and pretty much everything in general.  But last week, I got to the last page of my planner!  I needed a new one…and STAT!!  And really, I didn’t want to drive all the way up to LA to where I had found it.  So I decided to make one of my own, and share it with all of you.

1.  Print onto regular copy paper (dimensions fit on an 8.5 x 11 paper, so there is no cutting involved)

2.  Leave printed copy face up and then print on the back, so that the document is two sided

3.  When you’ve got the desired amount of pages, fold in half & staple together with a decorative cover

* Cover should be about 3/8 in. wider on each side.  Trim down once all pages are stapled together

** The first page shouldn’t be double sided so that when you open your planner you have a blank page where you can write a special quote or something motivating to keep you going throughout the week.

This is mine…

“A goal is a dream with a deadline” – Napoleon Hill

I omitted some things from the original that I really had no use for, and added a few things.

Circle the month you are currently in, and in the white box next to the day, indicate the date

On the bottom right, there’s a space to indicate year.  So print as many copies as you like until 2099! hehe

For the cover, I used a charcoal houndstooth scrapbook page, as an homage to the Fall Season that I’m hoping will begin soon in San Diego…sigh…Go Away Humidity!

Also used a decorative lace print and key lime washi tape

I printed 10 double sided pages & 1 single sided page.  This gave me 21 weeks of planning.  Which works out to roughly 5 mos.

And while I still got you here, check out the Pay It Forward GIVEAWAY I’ve got going on.  There are 2 spots left, and this weekly planner may end up among the handmade goodies I send your way, if you win!  Yep, I’m making more than one thing for each lucky winner!
