DIY Date – Beads

I am in DIY mode here at home, and I am super excited to do another DIY Date for August!

So if you missed the last date, be sure to do this one! Here are the details…

August is my birthday month.  Yippee!!  And in the spirit of birthdays, celebrations, and all things {giving} I decided to add a lil’ something to this DIY Date.

Create anything with beads: small ones, big ones, affordable ones, expensive ones…doesn’t matter.  You can make jewelry, an art piece, some kind of craft….totally your call, whatever your heart desires.  The only catch….you have to give this craft to someone….easy enough right?!

Just take pics of your “gift” and email them to me (by the date above), along with the recipient’s name and an explanation as to why you made this for them.

I will do the DIY Date post on the 17th, but you are more than welcome to do your post for this DIY Date whenever you wish, if you have a blog.

Anyone can craft along with us.  You don’t have to have a blog to join us for this date!  Just email me at info@laidoffmom.com to let me know if you’ll craft with us!

I have set up a pinterest board to help you get inspired.  And when the DIY Date is up, I’ll post all your pics on the DIY Date Pinterest Board, and on the Laid Off Mom Facebook Fan Page as well.

Can’t wait to see what you all come up with.  The last DIY Date was so fun, and I know this time around, you guys will be even more creative!!

Happy Crafting!!

                                                                                     xo, Louise
