Hi, and Welcome! I’m Louise, and this is my lil’ corner of the blogiverse. I write a bit about everything…life, love, motherhood, yummy recipes, DIY, craft projects, etc…anything that inspires me and motivates to be a better person than I already am.
I used to design women’s apparel here in San Diego until I was unceremoniously laid off July 2011. Up until then I thought…you go to school, find a job, and then you’re SET! That’s the way the world works right?! Boy was I wrong!
This blog was born out of sheer tenacity. I wanted my own “Make It Work” moment. I didn’t want to go back to the workforce and fear that a new boss would give me another pink slip. I wanted to be my own boss…set my own hours, be with my family, and be the exception to the rule.
And most importantly, I want to show my girls that anything is possible.
And it is.
I’m on a quest to “Redesign Life, Love And Motherhood.”

Louise! Your blog is beautiful, inspiring, creative… I love it! It makes me want to do something crafty – which I love but, never find time for. The mason jars are so sweet! My girls are very into straws right now so I use one for that but I need an idea for another one… See you at the park!
